Tumpak Sewu is a massive tiered waterfall on the border of Lumajang and Malang. The water drops roughly 120 meters down steep jungle cliffs. You can view the wide curtain of water from a safe, paved rim path.
Adventurous visitors can hike down to the canyon floor. The 45-minute descent uses bamboo ladders, metal stairs, and ropes anchored to wet rocks. You will cross knee-deep rivers to reach the base.

It was a great experience; we had a nice group with a lot of fun people. The tour guide and our driver were also excellent. They were great at their jobs, and I had a lot of fun with them! Thanks again for everything during the amazing day!
It was an excellent day enjoying nature. The driver came on time, did his job professionally and safe for us, the group was only 5 of us and some more people joined us at the waterfall, guides were nice and took care of us so we had many time at the waterfall, everyone returned happy! Moreover almost the whole day I got to see a marvellous Semeru volcano, what an awesome day!
I went on this day trip to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall as a solo traveler and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. April Tour organised a perfect trip for us (5 friends) to explore Bromo and Tumpak Sewu in the same day. They also managed transport for malang airport and going back to malang after.
